I was seeing all these beauty gurus raving about different dry shampoos on the social media.This was like a revolution in the industry.For me this was a new concept as it says if you are in a rush and wanted grease to go from your hair then you can spray the dry shampoo on your hair instead of washing it.I wasn't convinced with the concept and wanted to give it a go for my curiosity .The other day i had picked this Sunsilk refreshing dry shampoo and was excited to it it a go.So here goes my review on the product

My hair texture:
I have curly and slightly dry hair so for me my scalp gets hardly greasy.

The refreshing dry shampoo review:

SMELL:smell fresh but not overpowering

TEXTURE:It doesn't have any color and looks like water but evaporates ones you spray on your hair and dries instantly absorbing oil.

Its a solid steel container that comes in a spray form and is easy to use.

DESCRIPTION:

The back of the product says all about it how to use it with steps.
Here are the steps

STEP 1:Shake can,part your hair and spray from 20-30 cm from the root,where hair is mostly oil.
STEP 2:Massage with fingers all over roots evenly to absorb oil and wait 1 minute.
STEP 3:Brush out and style as usual


My take on Sunsilk refreshing dry shampoo:
I have dry hair so i have very less oil in my hair when i sprayed it ,it worked fine but i am not use for the girls who have extremely oily hair i don't think this product would work as i have tried it on a person who has extremely oily hair.

     The texture is thick and creamy,at first i did not expect it to be this thick

•  I don't really like the packaging as its in a tub I wish it was in a bottle form or with a pump as you would have to use your hand to scoop the product                                         
• Its a bit on the costly side for the quantity but never the less it works wonders .

•  I absolutely love the smell it smells tropical . 

• I have dry hair and it really helped to smooth it out and it feels like heaven. This stuff lasts you forever, and this definitely changed my hair  .If you don't damage  your hair with heat ,the ends of your hair still dry out 

    WOULD I RECOMMEND IT ? :Absolutely I cannot recommend this enough it is pricey since it works wonders 5/5 stars

How I used it:
I firstly section my hair lifting the top layer first with a hair clip I them spray on the spray on the hair which is out of the clips and then use my straightners to straighten my hair. Its no use just straightening the top layer of hair if you really want a smooth look and I find sectioning is the best way to get that straight look. Once one section is done I release some more hair and then repeat the process.

What I thought ....Anyway once my hair was done it did look shiny and smooth and thats why i love this product and it dint make my hair frizzy.

SCRUCH YOUR HAIR

PROCEDURE:
Step 1: Shower time:Be sure to use conditioner in your hair, and use your fingers (or a brush) to take out the tangles while you have the conditioner in your hair. After you rinse the conditioner out of your hair, saturate your hair with water, then turn off the shower. Next, flip your head over and finger-comb your hair (run your fingers through it) until any remaining tangles are gone. After that, loosely wrap your hair in a towel, dry off, and put some clothes on

Step 2: Adding Product
After you take your hair (gently!) out of the towel. If you've never noticed, frizz is really just a bunch of hairs that don't form one distinct curl, but rather they each just float around solo. 


Before I go on…I must say, I never ever brush my curly hair. Brushing curly hair often results in poofiness, and it definitely does not allow your individual curls to make “pieces"  So, I recommend NOT using a brush, unless you are in the shower and plan to wet your hair again.


Ok, moving on. After you remove the towel, it is time to apply product. I have found that the most effective way to apply product is to "scrunch" it in gently. I start by tipping my head to one side and draping my hair over it. I then scrunch and pat the garnier gel onto my hair, being careful not brush my hair in any way. The goal here is to apply product to the curls, not every individual hair. Remember to put a little bit of product on the baby hairs near your hairline... those LOVE to get frizzy!

Step 3: AIR-drying:Instead of blow-drying your hair, you could just let your hair air dry.

Remember: try to avoid brushes unless you’re in the shower, and absolutely NO finger-combing, brushing, or combing past Step 2!

To begin, simply spritz the hair with the water bottle so that the hair is slightly damp, gently finger-combing the water through the hair. {If the hair is too wet, then it will not hold the curls.} Proceed next by separating out small sections of hair and roll the section of your hair by your fingers and pin it up by a hair pin or two until it is secure to your head and keep doing this, until you reach the back of the head after all the sections of hair is compleated wrap a scarf around your hair and go to sleep...: )

The key is to sleep on this hairstyle overnight until you are ready to take it out. You may choose to wear a silk scarf over the hair to keep it from falling out while you sleep.

RESULTS:The next morning, gently unwind the strands of hair from the headband. You should end up with large, voluminous curls in the lower sections of the strands, and you can style the hair as you wish in all sorts of combinations. We made this a half-up/half-down hairstyle by forming an upper ponytail with some of the hair, and then gently bobby pinning the curls back into the ponytail holder.
Again, this is a fun hairstyle for girls of all ages. It is so easy to do and you never have to touch a curling iron! Enjoy!
