Here is a fun DIY ...this diwali have fun with your family in creating these candles.
Things needed :
1 wax
2 moulds
3 color
4 candle perfume
5 candle thread
STEPS:
step 1 :
Take the mould in which you will be making the candle
Step 2:
Take a needle and make a hole in the bottom of the mould
Step 3
Take the thread and pass it through the hole and cut the extra thread
Step 4:
Secure the thread with a tape ,make sure the thread is properly secured and there is no gap otherwise the wax will come out.keep this ready
Step 5 :
Take the wax and melt it in a steel vessel
Step 6 : Take the vessel out and mix in the color and the perfume after the wax is totally melted and mix it nicely
Step 7:
Pour the wax in the mould and catch the thread till the wax is setted.
Step 8:
Let the wax cool totally
Step 9:
Take out the candle from the mould slowly
and your done
Note:if you are using a plastic mould like a disposable which i used here,you can cut the mould with scissors if its difficult to take it out and if you are using a steel mould then put some oil on the inside of the mould covering it so that when it cools it becomes easy for you to take it out.
